Environmental Advisory Council

The council’s primary role is to research and provide recommendations on issues such as open space preservation, water resource protection, recycling, and promoting overall environmental sustainability. They often review proposed development plans to assess their potential environmental impact and may also spearhead educational programs for the community. As a purely advisory body, the EAC does not have regulatory power but serves as a crucial resource to help ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into the township’s policies and decisions.
