STROUD TOWNSHIP SEWER AUTHORITY NOTICE

Dear Stroud Township Sewer Authority Customer,

Sewer Specialty Services Company will be performing smoke testing within the municipal sewer system on behalf of the Stroud Township Sewer Authority. You are receiving this notice because you are in the vicinity of the testing area that will be taking place in the following weeks. The smoke may be seen emerging from the sewer manholes and possibly from the ground or in/around houses. The smoke is harmless and inert. This type of testing is used to determine where leaks or improper connections to the sanitary system are located. This is related to ongoing efforts to eliminate infiltration and inflow of stormwater into the sewage collection system.

Sanitary lines being tested are located along:

• McMichael Drive
• Paula Drive
• Norton Road
• Creekwood Drive
• Beverly Lane
